The Garmin Enduro 3, set to be released around late August or early September 2024, is designed specifically for ultra-endurance athletes who need a smartwatch that can keep up with their long workouts or races. The Enduro 3 is expected to retain the rugged build and extended battery life that made its predecessors popular, while introducing a few key upgrades.

Notably, the Enduro 3 will feature a 51mm case size and will be equipped with Garmin's new Elevate 5 heart rate sensor, which promises improved accuracy and additional metrics such as skin temperature monitoring. The watch is also expected to have solar charging capabilities, maintaining its reputation for exceptional battery longevity. Its design includes a durable titanium case with a Sapphire Glass lens, ensuring it can withstand harsh conditions.

While detailed software features haven't been fully disclosed, the focus remains on advanced training metrics tailored for endurance sports. The Enduro 3 will likely launch alongside other new Garmin models, including the Fenix 8 series, offering a broad range of options for both casual fitness enthusiasts and serious athletes.

This new model positions Garmin to continue leading in the niche market of high-performance sports watches, especially for those who prioritize durability and battery life over flashy features
