Pin Drop Navigation for iPhone Users

iPhone users can now enjoy the convenience of pin drop navigation. Instead of manually inputting an address or intersection, you can drop a pin from the maps app on your iPhone and share it to Garmin Connect. Sync the location to your device and let it create a route based on your specific activity, such as running or cycling.

Turnpoint Enhancements for Better Navigation

Enjoy more confident exploration with turnpoint enhancements. There's no longer a limit to the number of course points you can have within a course loaded to your Smartwatch. Turnpoints will now provide better guidance in decision-making situations, such as indicating clearly to go left at a fork in the trail.

Find My Phone Improvement for Added Peace of Mind

With the specific Find My Phone Improvement, you can have extra peace of mind while recording a GPS activity. If your paired smartphone disconnects for 3 minutes, a GPS location will automatically be stored, and you'll receive a notification on your Smartwatch. Options include referencing the last connected point, viewing a map with the marked location, and navigating back using your onboard map.

Enhanced Mapping Content

Forerunner SmartWatch users with an outdoor Maps Plus subscription now have access to a wide variety of premium mapping content across all 50 states in the US. This includes satellite imagery, nightlights, public land maps, enhanced topo maps, and more. Other Garmin device users will also receive additional map content tailored to their specific watch model.

Garmin Messenger App Integration
